All plants are in containers hidden beneath donated mulch. Plants loaned by Mount Annan Botanic Gardens. Wirreanda Nursery and others. Preserved birds loaned by Birds Australia and replica wildlife by the Australian Museum.

  • Angophora costata, Sydney Red Gum, growing as a multi-trunked tree in the grounds of Rozelle Hospital, New South Wales

  • Archontophoenix cunninghamiana, Bangalow Palm, growing in a stand in a gulley along a winding, hilly stretch of The Lakes Way off the Myall Lakes, New South Wales
  • Asplenium australasicum, Birds Nest Fern, grows where tree branches diverge and in rock crevices. Very hardy given some shade and moisture.
  • Brachychiton acerifolius, Flame Tree, a tall rainforest tree growing in a small garden in Tuncurry, New South Wales
  • Carpobrotus glaucescens, Pigface, growing on the hind dunes at Elizabeth Beach, New South Wales
  • Gordon planted the Banksia robur, Swamp Banksia. The Purple Swamp hen nests on the edge of our dam, but seldom takes to water
